Currently holding group training sessions at our West Melbourne Campus to accommodate trainees from Hospitality employers all over Melbourne. If you have over 10 staff we can conduct training in your workplace. 

The course is delivered fortnightly with 12 x 4 hours sessions + monthly assessor visits in your workplace to see your skills in action. You will need to complete online assessments. 

Core Subjects 

• Food Handlers Certificate (RSF)
• Coaching others in the workplace 
• WHS
• Customer service & complaint handling
• Working with others and showing social and cultural sensitivity
• Industry knowledge
• Work effectively in hospitality service (Log book of 36 shifts)

Elective Subjects for venues with alcohol and table service (below are our suggested electives)

• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
• Bar, Cocktails & Cash Handling
• Coffee/Barista 
• Food & Beverage service

Elective Subjects for venues without alcohol suited to fast service venues (below are our suggested electives)

• Non-alcoholic drinks, Cleaning & Cash handling
• Coffee/Barista 
• Food & Beverage service (basics)
• Sales & presentations - teaches confidence and skills in promoting your products and services

Duration depends on each students working hours, how many sessions are held per month and prior skills and knowledge. Standard duration is 6-12 months. 

If you need extra support we have scheduled practical skills training at our head offices or you can book a one-on-one appointment anytime with a trainer.
